Arts and Crafts
Arts and crafts will be incorporated into our daily activities because they are so beneficial to their development. Art helps them use their imagination, and gives them another avenue to express feelings. Making crafts helps to develop their fine motor skills and critical thinking.
Performing Arts
A Southeastern University theatre instructor/director is creating a children's theatre program exclusively for our childcare center. They will have interactive puppet shows and play performances, along with giving the pre-k performing art lessons.
Science Experiments
Young children have inquisitive minds, and we want to encourage that. We will have hands-on age appropriate science experiments to help them explore why the world around them works the way it does.
Yoga and Dancercise
In the age of technology, children are becoming sedentary in front of electronic screens. We want to show them that fitness is fun. By using various fitness routines and incorporating it into play time, we make sure to keep it interesting.
Organic Gardening
Spring is near, and we can't wait for our students to show off their green thumbs. They will learn so much while also feeling so proud by growing their own garden for everyone to see.
